One of the largest accounting agencies in the Hudson Valley, part of the nationwide BDO Seidman Alliance, Sickler, Torchia, Allen & Churchill CPA (STAC) asked RGI for help in strengthening its positioning among commercial clients. RGI's study determined that brand recognition was hampered due to the agency’s name changing to acknowledge new partners. To better accommodate future name changes, RGI introduced a symbol that would achieve public recognition and build brand equity. The new symbol echoed the agency's primary territory: the Catskills/Hudson Valley region. RGI changed the color palette from red to a 'Catskills Green' to suggest growth and health (vs. the negative connotation of being 'in the red'). The new branding featured a tagline to emphasize responsibility and service: 'Your Partner When It Counts'. The new branding-- showcased in advertising, marketing material and website (also developed by RGI)--allows STAC to effectively engage target audiences.
